Jon has been overseeing the 5th-8th grade ministries since May 2012.He grew up in the Akron area, attending Kent State University for a few semesters before transferring to Cedarville University, where he graduated with a degree in youth ministries in 2012.

The best part of his job is getting to see students discovering what it means to follow Jesus, and being challenged by their questions and passion to serve God.

Shannon has been on staff since 1999 and currently oversees Care and Women's Ministries.

Shannon is married to David and she has 2 daughters and 6 grandchildren.

Maggie has been attending Riverwood with her husband, Matt and three children since August of 2003. 

As a Special Education Teacher, Maggie brings a wealth of knowledge on how to better serve our children with special needs.  Her heart is to have all children be able to experience the love of Christ. 

Maggie's primary focus is overseeing the elementary ministry at Riverwood.

Amy has been attending Riverwood with her husband, John and two children since 2010.
In addition to her years of teaching experience in elementary education, Amy also brings experience in training and mentoring teachers, as well as designing educational programs.
Amy’s primary focus is overseeing the children’s ministry at Riverwood.

Carol has been attending Riverwood with her husband, Charlie, and four children since Fall 2007. She has been involved in children's ministry for more than twenty years including teaching Sunday school, teaching and directing VBS, and writing children's curriculum. Carol's primary focus is overseeing Wednesday's Family Ministry Night and VBS/Camp Riverwood.

Cindy's varied roles include office management of the support staff, office policies, facilities oversight, and financial administration.

Cindy is married to Dale and they have three children.

Beth is director of communications, assimilation and assistant to Pastor Lon Snyder.

She is married to Chris and they have four boys.

Paula supports the ministries of the Youth Department and the Lead Pastor. Paula is married to Jeff and has two sons.

Mary supports the Worship Ministries and is the receptionist. She has three grown children.

Cole has been on staff since 2000 and is the Lead Pastor.

Cole graduated from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School with a Masters of Divinity. He and his wife Joyce are also parents of three boys.

Pastor Bill has been at Riverwood since July 2001, arriving here from the Chicago area where he was born, raised, reborn, and married.

Bill’s passion is ushering all people into God’s presence through worship in its various forms. This plays out in a diversity of worship forms on Sunday morning from the obvious (music, singing, scripture) to the less obvious (dance, artists creating in a worship gathering.)

He is married to Amy and they have three boys.

Pastor Jonny has been at Riverwood since 2011. He oversees the ministries from cradle to college. A huge goal of the Family ministries at Riverwood is helping parents see the vital role they play in their child’s spiritual formation. So we try to encourage, equip and walk along parents as they do their God-given role! Through preaching and individual discipleship, helping others mature in Christ through the Word and genuine Christian community is his passion.

Jonny is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary (ThM) and Grove City College (BSEE). He is married to Jen and they are the proud parents of Madison and #2 – which is on the way (ETA October 2013)!

Lon was one of the founding pastors of Riverwood and therefore has been on staff since 1991.

Pastor Lon oversees the Outreach ministries of Riverwood. He also administrates Sunday morning electives.

Lon has a Masters of Theology (Th.M.) in Historical Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. He is married to Sue.
